Afternoon Update
Well so much for not having anything to report for today! Today has been a good day in the Tomlinson house. We have tried several attempts at doing a FaceTime call with dad and he is always sleeping. It has been a trying exercise in futility, or so it seemed.....
Today Mom was able to talk with dad and see his open eyes for the first time since he went into the hospital. His eyes open and recognition reflected back for about 10 minutes. He can't speak because of the tracheotomy, but he can blink his eyes and he seemed to be a little emotional.
This is the first time in dad's life that he will have to listen instead of speaking. So basically he's our captive audience until further notice! And I'm not sure about the rest of you but I plan on taking full advantage of it!
